15 Common View

Letchworth, Hertfordshire, UK

15 Common View is a typical Letchworth Garden City home, designed by well-known arts architect, Courtenay Crickmer, in the early 1900s. It was in need of refurbishment to improve insulation and thermal performance. Willmott Dixon have combined with the BRE (Building Research Establishment) and Letchworth Garden Heritage Foundation to transform this house. Aereco is one of the partners and sponsors of this project.

Systems included in the house are Pavadry wood fibre internal wall insulation, solar PV panels, a waste water heat recovery system and a demand controlled ventilation system from Aereco.
